Getting started as a Fan
Download Fame Phone from the App Store® to get started.
Once installed, launch the app and select Start as a Fan.
You’ll need to register as a new user. Your first and last name
will be your profile name.
To register you must provide an email address where
we’ll send notifications about your account.

Complete all fields, and accept our terms to proceed with
registration. Our terms may be seen here or at the bottom
of our registration form in-app.
Next, we’ll send a message to the email you provided with
a link to complete your registration. Click the link to be
verified to login to the app.
Before login, ensure Keychain® is enabled in your phones’
iCloud® settings. You should enable AutoFill passwords in
your phones’ passwords & account settings, which lets you
login with a few taps and no typing.
Once Keychain is enabled on your device and your account
has been email verified, you may login. We use these steps
to maintain a high degree of account security.

Create your Fan profile
Get started by creating a personal profile to share with Heroes.
Add a photo and a short bio about you. Your profile is only seen by Heroes you request calls with. Fans don't see each others' profiles on Fame Phone.
Use the learn more button to learn how the app works.
Update changes to your profile any time, then use the
view profile button to see what Heroes see.
Browse Heroes and request calls
Browse our list of participating Hero members to see
who might be available to call on any given day.

Fans requesting calls propose a time they’d like to talk,
and a number of minutes for each call. Our call requests
are within a period ranging from 1 hour in the future
to 2 weeks in the future.
​
Request calls with participating Heroes and manage
requests in your call scheduler. Heroes may accept or
decline requests, or offer you an alternate time which
suits them best. You may accept an offered time or
decline that call and request again later.

If you or a Hero approve a call request, we'll send an
email with instructions to complete your payment and
secure your requested time. Once paid, the status of
that call in your scheduler will update to paid.
​
When your call time arrives, you'll be able
to join your call right from your scheduler.
How we prove Heroes are real
We provide Hero members tools to prove to you
without any doubt they are a real member here.
Heroes who don't clearly prove their identity
should not be paid for calls.
Our two-step identity confirmation system for Heroes
makes it impossible for fakers to fool you. Here's how it works:

We use a combination of:
​
1) Hero profile photos which may only be added with their
phones' front-facing camera. Who would recognize any
Heroes' face better than their own fans?
and 2) A trailer may be added to Hero profiles, which is a
link they provide to a post with their face on their official
social media account or website matching the face on
their profile, and stating they're a member.

Posting content matching our criteria on any Heroes'
official social media account is impossible for a faker.
Fans can easily spot fakes here because they can't
provide both a real photo and matching trailer,
but any valid Hero can.

Don't pay Heroes who can't clearly prove their identity.
